BS 1868API 6D Swing flanged check valve
Swing flanged check valve manufactured to API 6D,BS 1868, also known as the blocking valve, reflux valve, Swing flanged check valve or one-way valve is a piece whose function is to allow the fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction, with no return inside the pipe.
There are several uses for the Swing flanged check valve in a wide variety of applications. Thus, Swing flanged check valve is used in domestic equipment and also in applications of the industrial plant and its pipes.
The Swing check valve works automatically, so in most applications it does not need to be controlled by a person or any external control device. In this way, in most cases, the threaded check valve has no valve cable or stem.
In terms of structure, the Swing check valve is made of metal, and consists of two ports, which means that it has two openings in its body, one for the fluid to enter and another for the fluid to exit the valve.
